Tailfins and Grills

May 15, 2011

Yesterday was the 2011 Car Show at George Mason University. Not exactly the best weather to regale in the glory of your youth, but it was still a good time nonetheless. And I DID win an award. Maybe because I had the only motorcyle on display. Awesome.

Lots of photos after the jump.

Now we’re talking. This custom hot rod turned a lot of heads.

I’m in good company here with this 1962 Chevy Corvette.

Going back in time to May 25, 1977. The day I was born of course.

Yours truly in the drivers seat of a 1981 Delorean. I’ve always wanted one of these DeLoreans, but I wasn’t prepared for how cramped the cockpit was. Marty McFly must have been really little.
